A clothing revolution is changing the way garments are made and Envirowear has been designed to be recycled – using only mono-fibre design principles, each fabric, trim and accessory is carefully selected to ensure recyclability.

The Challenges
Of the 40 million workwear garments provided to wearers annually in the UK, over 90% end up in landfill or get incinerated.
Garments are often blended with other fibres rendering them almost impossible to recycle. Trims, accessories and finishes introduce further barriers to recycling.

How it Works
When garments reach the end of their useful lives, they are returned for recycling.
The rPET material generated from this unique recycling process can be made into yarn and used for all kinds of polyester clothing and accessories.

Tracking & Traceability
A QR code embedded within the garment can be scanned to identify the garment and inform the holder where it can be sent for recycling. If a garment capturing program is not in place within the user's place of work, Beeswift would be happy to introduce a garment-capturing service provider if required.
